Sierra Club NYC

The Sierra Club's national leadership on climate change is well known, as are its efforts to step up municipal climate change response.

Sierra Club NYC, the local chapter of the Sierra Club, aims to accelerate New York City's transition toward sustainability by addressing energy price and supply volatility in energy price and supply, as well as climate change.

“Sustainable Energy Independence for NYC” is a report written by Dan Miner, Chair of Sierra Club NYC Group.  Mr. Miner serves as Senior Vice President of Long Island City Business Development Corporation, a business services nonprofit in Queens, NYC. (This report does not reflect the positions of that organization.)
